Automated soldering for consistent quality
Automated soldering for precision, quality and consistency
Automation has become essential in modern soldering processes. It enables manufacturers to achieve levels of precision and reliability that manual operations simply cannot match. Our range of automated soldering machines is designed to improve quality, consistency and throughput while reducing operator dependency and training needs. Depending on the application, we offer several soldering technologies—including iron, induction, microflame and laser—each optimized for different process requirements.
At the heart of our product range is a commitment to flexibility. From compact table-top systems to fully integrated production lines, our soldering platforms can be configured to suit each customer’s specific process. This modular approach ensures a reliable and cost-effective solution for both small and large-scale production environments.
The mta classic soldering iron head
Our classic iron head for soldering robots remains one of the most widely adopted solution. It is especially popular among customers transitioning from manual soldering, as it provides familiar handling while offering all the advantages of automated soldering. This technology ensures a stable, consistent process and further reduces operator dependency, training time and consumable costs.
Built with a precision-machined, high-strength structure, the iron head delivers outstanding rigidity. Its pneumatically dampened spring ensures optimal contact and heat transfer without damaging the parts. Moreover, the soldering tip and heating element are separate, allowing the tip to be replaced independently, further reducing cost of ownership.
An integrated, jam-free wire feeder mounted directly on the head guarantees precise solder control and prevents wire kinks. A built-in fume extraction nozzle removes fumes directly at the source. Additional tools such as cameras, dual feeders or flux dispensers can also be integrated to adapt the system to specific requirements.

TR300 table-top soldering robot
For applications where human dexterity remains essential, our TR300 soldering table-top robot provides an excellent first step into automation. Purpose-built for semi-automated point-to-point soldering, it offers a cost-effective way to increase throughput and process stability without the investment of a fully automated system.
The TR300 table-top robot features a 300 × 300 mm working area and 4-axis motion with 0.02 mm repeatability. It includes an industrial PC controller running the intuitive mta MotionEditor software. Standard equipment provides fume extraction, safety guarding and compatibility with all our soldering heads.
Turnkey automated soldering solutions
Beyond our classic iron soldering head, our induction, microflame and laser soldering solutions. Each technology addresses applications requiring different heat transfer methods or precision levels. Combined with our flexible automation platforms, these technologies ensure stable, repeatable and high-quality solder joints across many industries.
At mta robotics, we continue to innovate in automated soldering. We deliver complete solutions that enhance process control, boost productivity and maintain exceptional quality in every production environment.
